Dr. Charles E. Gutierrez has over 20 years of experience in psychological evaluations, in an outpatient environment. His goal, for his patients,
is to provide them with an accurate and complete diagnosis, which is helpful for psychiatrists, primary care physicians and therapists for medication directives and counseling. His patient evaluations are a three part process (which the patient must attend all three sessions):
Session One: Information gathering
Session Two: Testing
Session Three: Evaluation/results, which can include recommendations
for medication/counseling, if needed
Dr. Gutierrez only administers psychological evaluations. He is NOT
a therapist and he DOES NOT prescribe medication. Based on his evaluation,
he may refer his patients to psychiatrists, primary care physicians and therapists for the appropriate follow-up care and treatment.
Additionally, Dr. Gutierrez provides consultations for physicians and other professionals for the care and management of patients.
Dr. Gutierrez did his undergraduate work at Trinity University and graduate work from Michigan State University.
To better serve his patients, he is bilingual in English and Spanish.
